Will pees on the potty

The best part of pottytraining--seeing their cute little butts in underwear ;)

Yeah! My sweet little boy is going on the potty. 100% pee, about 5% the other. But, we will take it! He is so sweet and he just is so proud of himself when he goes. He's earned a batman and batmobile (thanks Grandma Terri!) and of course, plenty of candy! If he goes all day without #2'ing in something other than the toilet, we are headed to Chucky Cheese! I know those of you who read this without kids (my sister and brother in law mostly!) probably read this and are horrified that I would even publish something like this but this is HUGE and such an accomplishment. I just hope his tummy issues can be helped and maybe
we can figure out a way to help the #2 along ;)
Big things to come for Little Will.

Love the Randomness of Life

I love my kids. Yesterday, we sorta had one of those "what do you want to do days!" We went to a park that morning (the John Deere park as Will calls it) and then headed to Target to update our night-nights! (All BPA free of course!) Then, Michael called us for our Friday lunch date! After lunch the kids were clearly not ready for a nap, so we headed to some garage sales! I found some great Incredibles, Wiggles (sigh!) and Cars jammies for Will (25 cents a peice!) Then Will bought a measuring tape and the guy threw in a belt loop one for him! Clare bought a tinkerbell lap desk with markers! I bought some more "stuff" for Will and for my friend Carries little girl! It was just a good day and I just love how my kids can roll with the punches!

Last night we had our race at Central Catholic--the kids Run for Fun! The kids love to run the track and get their ribbon! Then we headed to my friend Denises house to have a little get together with some other families! It was so nice to relax (as much as you can with kids playing amongst you!) with other adults and have adult time while your kids are there with you! My big two crashed and Xavier had a terrible sleeping night, but oh well!

I am truly blessed, and I know this! Sometimes it just takes days like this to put you in check! Great family (check!) great friends (check!) great marriage (check!) great kids again (check check!) Life is good ;)

Updated Pics~

Our fancy landscaping. I absolutely love it, I am so thrilled everything came back up this year!!!!

Xavier showing me his chalk, he is so stinkin' cute!

Will was asking me a question, but he is in that hard to get a picture stage!
Everything is posed or I click it a second too late;)

Clare on her last day of school! She LOVED school!
It was a "play day!"

Sorry, it's been awhile.....

Hello.
Let's just say, a lot has changed. I am talking attitudes/demeanor/maybe even personalities....we are not sure. I am PRAYING it is an adjustment to the summer but I think it has more to do with two "big" little growing people who are coming into their own and one little person who still requires a lot of mommies time. So, Will is into the hitting/biting/pushing/ fun of being a 2 year old middle child. If I am not loving on him or playing with him, I am pulling him off of his sister! Clare is becoming a four year old diva. Everyday we have to wear a dress and not just any dress, a dress that spins. Each day MUST be packed full of FUN things to do up to the divas expectations. Xavier is my roll with the punches kid. As long as I have food for him, we are good to go wherever. Stick a swimsuit on him and take him to the pool, as long as he has his puffs ;) Take him to the park, as long as he has his puffs ;) The little man LOVES to swing!
We are also trying to figure out if we need to get rid of naps for the big two and go for an earlier bedtime??? If we make this change, I welcome supernanny to come over and figure out what the heck happens between 5 & 6 pm. I am pretty sure the definition of "all hell breaks loose" came from a mom in my position about this time. Everyone needs fed, and not just a little something it's a full on meal and it's NOW!
As you can tell, we are needing a bit of a break! We are going to KC next week for a week so that should be a welcome diversion from the norm! I think once we get back and can get in a pool and start our summer--we will be good to go! Here are some updated photos of the kids. They are sweet and playful as ever! I am also including one of our house because I am IN LOVE with our new landscaping ;)

Vogel Kids

Vogel Update

I am sure you are all anxiously awaiting another Vogel update! Well, once again my poor kids are on antibiotics for ear/sinus/whatever! They are all happy as can be and doing much better! Hopefully this weather will get its act together and we can be healthy again! I think Clare and Wills problem is allergies. But, nothing we can really do about that!

We went to KC last week and had a great trip! We mostly visited with family but Michael and I had a few dates!

This week is the week of Carries wedding so Ralph and Patty and Emily and Paul are coming! Tonight the kids are going to my mom and dads for a sleepover (not Xavier...) so I am working on getting my house ready for company! We desperately need to go to the grocery store, I have to make some meals for friends as well, so it is going to be a busy week :)

Other than that....we ordered carpet so I am anxious for that. I think it will improve this house a TON! I can't wait!

I will be sure to post wedding photos, but here are some random pics!!!
